The Dube plant is ISO 9001:2015 certified and MIB-accredited, with 7 years of successful audits.

  3. Designed to maintain high standards and facilitate continuous improvement across all operations

Assembly Process

Integrating various vehicle components into a complete vehicle, ensuring quality control and efficient workflow throughout the production line.

  1. Vehicles are constructed in a systematic, step-by-step manner along an assembly line, where various components such as chassis, engines, and interiors are integrated efficiently

  2. Rigorous quality control measures are implemented to monitor adherence to specifications and benchmarks

Assembly Facilities

SKD Facility, Dube Free Trade Zone

The SKD contract assembly plant in the Dube Free Trade Zone in Durban, South Africa, is an independent Contract Assembler for Mahindra South Africa. Operated by our subsidiary AIH Logistics, the plant first started producing single-cab Pik Up models before increasing the plant’s capabilities and the complexity of its semi-knockdown line to where each Pik Up is a complete nuts-and-bolts assembly.

The facility is described as the largest Mahindra assembly outside India and the most complex of its kind on the African continent.
